Lesson learned in blog-stalking

So there is a reason I'm creating a blog of our very own... 

Not so much to record the sweet and exciting happenings of our newly married life and all that entails.

Not so much to keep a journal as the Prophet has repeatedly asked of us (please read: asked of me... I definitely take that as a needed personal chastisement).

And not so much because I have so many important things to say to the world and I simply must have those things available for all to read.

Nope. Not a single one of the above listed reasons...

Instead, I am beginning a blog because I have an incredible husband, and he is particularly observant (every woman’s dream right?).  And my wonderful and observant husband caught me (yes, “caught me” is the correct phrase.  No other description would come close to capturing my extreme guilt-ridden face mirroring my extreme guilt-ridden conscience as I hastily tried to close my laptop cover... to no avail.)  So, he nevertheless “caught me” with at least 6 different tabs up in my tattle-telling Safari browser traitor (maybe I will switch back to a pc!  Take that you stinkin’ mac)--all of different blogs I was currently “stalking.”  Please note... this was my specified self-imposed “homework time”...

So that was a little while ago.  And I should make it very clear that I didn’t “get in trouble” per-say from that wonderful husband of mine.  But since that moment he’s been encouraging me to use some of the “blog-stalking” time to create a little blog of our own.  What? As if that would be using my time a little more wisely?  

probably... Plus, every day it seems there’s a something I’d like to have recorded so we can look back on it and remember.

Therefore, the blog begins (this time for real).

I’m going to copy what a dear friend from the past is doing (I’m sure she has no idea I’ve been blog-stalking her) and try to center my posts around gratitude for the rest of the month.  Cliche? maybe.  More awesome than words can say?  most definitely!

Also, shout out to my two sisters for being motivating individuals as well in this introduction to the blog world.

So today I am grateful for a lesson learned in blog-stalking...not that I’m going to stop anytime soon. :) 

ps I have a hot husband.  Do you blame me for smiling so much?  Also, I have a rockin' cousin who took pictures of us.
